Ardbeg BizarreBQ is a limited-edition Scotch whisky that was created in collaboration with Christian Stevenson, aka DJ BBQ. It is a smoky, peaty whisky that has been matured in a combination of double-charred oak casks, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and the distillery’s unique ‘barbecue’ casks. The result is a whisky that is full of flavor, with notes of smoke, spice, sweetness, and fruit.
The nose of Ardbeg BizarreBQ is dominated by smoke and spice. There are also notes of treacle toffee, hickory smoked ham, and cinnamon-dusted espresso. A splash of water releases distinctively sharp citrus aromas, along with herbal notes such as fennel and aniseed.
